Art + Architecture form a relationship that transcends time and space, a deep connection that communicates a complex mixture of thoughts and resonates with authenticity. Art is a medium for the representation of truth, beauty, and the invisible abstract concepts which reveal our world; a process of expansion toward greater possibility. Architecture is the process of creating buildings which physically, psychologically and emotionally shapes our lives; a process of distillation toward greater specificity. Art need not contain architecture, but architecture must contain art. Without art, the built environment becomes simply buildings and landscapes, diminishing the natural world they inhabit. With the imaginative, creative essence of art, the built environment becomes architecture.
